Were on the agenda for our fans in August as Champions League qualification to the group stages was up for grabs and boy did we take it. Yes over two legs we conceded a few goals and looked a little bit shaky but such is our attacking process that in the end we breezed past the German side TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. Thus ensuring our great club being back, where the majority of our fans believe we should always be, with the elite teams in Europe. That said, we have no given right being there just because we’re the joint third winners of the trophy, look at AC Milan.

We’re there though after a very good league campaign and season last year, all be it except January when we were truly awful and Klopp just couldn’t find a win. Thankfully we bounced back to finish fourth in the league and now here we are, ready to face Maribor, Sevilla and Spartak Moscow over the next few months.

A poor Arsenal display but we still destroyed them

As for our Premier League campaign so far, two home wins against a poor Arsenal team but I must say we were pretty impressive and clinical in front of goal. Palace weren’t great either but defensively they certainly made it harder than the gunners. Thankfully we still got the victory. That’s six points but it really should have been nine points from three games but for a goal conceded in injury at Watford on the opening day.
